FlubRC T-18th L-Series Kit
-The L-Series kit is the full package. Simply pick your favorite carbon color, and select what MagSliderz. All parts, magnets, and hardware are included.
The L-Series is wider than all of our other body kits. We've made brand new Wide MagSliderz, smoother, wider, and lower than ever! Ian, the team, and I wanted to bring the scale factor back to micro crawling. While this body still has a perfect approach and departure, we've limited tire size by scale, and with the wider profile, it will make lines challenging again!
This kit is for a 155mm wheel base, it's designed around 58mm tires, and has some new, awesome features! Full scale interior including front seats with e-brake, shifter, cup holders, and tumbler. Rear seats that fold down for extra cargo room. Full rear tray for all of your scale goodies. New dash with glove box and steering wheel. The grill is a 2 peice, leaving room for future options. Comes with Rear Lens, and Front Lens that are designed to be used with Halo lights, 3mm ambers for the blinker, and 3mm fog lights. New addition is the separate hood cowl section, it has provisions for hood lights, and our Snorkle also gets keyed into the cowl. New foldable side mirrors, and the body has pre-set spots for you to drill out if you want to attach them! More pre-set spots are located on the inner roof for our roof rack that's coming soon!
-Just in case you foresee yourself feeling skinny on the rocks, we've added a spare parts option, that includes 2 extra sets of mirrors and snorkels!

MagSliderz mounting system has been completely re-worked. All of our 1/18 body's will use the same MagSliderz, and we now have 5 options:
🟢 0° for stock chassis or any chassis that uses a stock type skid and utilizes a 0° skid angle.
🟢 3.5° Angled Skid - recommended for Meus chassis
🟢 6° JEC EVO18 Specific
🟢 6.5° DBRC Gila
🟢 6-8° Angled Skid - Leved at 6° this is an additional option if using the full skid angle available on 6-8° chassis.
For gluing parts to the body, you can use a CA glue, or my favorite is Shoe Goe or e6000, the rubbery type glue helps with impacts and is also great for Magnets.
We have a new CarbonFiber option we call "Carbon" this will have a slight increase in price, but a very high quality increase including higher temp and impact resistance. It also provides a textured matte finish, this can be painted with out prep, for a fine, scale "bed liner" type finish.
Bodies do require prep if planning to paint. For prep we reccomend starting with 220 Wet Sand with a flexible block, then move to 320 Wet Sand. Use a high fill sandable primer, and wet sand with 400, repeat last step until desired finish is achieved.
When choosing a color and planning to paint, you have options! You can choose the color based on what you would want to see when the paint gets scratched and character gets worked in. Orange, tan, and brown are good colors for showing rust and patina. Silver is the go to for metal or primer type scratches and wear. You can also pick the same color as your paint, so scratches will be less visible!
